Join seal related social media groups promoting responsible wildlife watching and share key posts about seal conservation and why it is important to give them space.

Protect.
Avoid naming sensitive seal sites to avoid increasing footfall and minimise disturbance levels

Encourage.
Avoid sharing photos of seals looking at the camera (as they could have been disturbed and it encourages others to seek similar photos).
At Home

Clean.
Use plant-based cleaning products where water is washed down home drains (toilets, sinks, washing/dishwashing machines)

Filter.
Use a microplastic trap bag for washing all plastic clothes (all stretch fabrics) apart from those that are 100% wool, cotton and silk

Flush.
Only pee, poo, paper and plant-based cleaning products down the loo

Reduce single-use plastic bottles and bags.
Reuse, repurpose, recycle all plastic products

Eat local line-caught fish and pot caught shellfish
